Great interview with Danielle. It is always a very controversial issue discussing the reserve banks and the Federal Reserve. Any comments on the interview?

Thank you for this podcast and the insights.
On the reserve status subject and the alternative to the greenback, I believe we are in the midst of that shift without the actual tectonic shocks being registered, yet.
China has been a student of the Japanese boom/bust of the late 90s and instead of blindly allocating all its excess reserves into the US economy and treasury market, China has been developing and internationalising its reach through direct investments in global emerging markets, acquiring hard assets, developing and managing infrastructure, providing financial aide and developing new venues for trading. These have obviously been welcomed as US Italian autostradas financing was welcomed post WW2.
True that for reserve status the question of collateral and payment system springs to mind, but ultimately the Yuan is part of the SDR which should provide it with a temporary plumbing if the US$ demise was to be accelerated by some stupid and infantile political action.
